Dark side of the moon

Krakow-based artist Dobiesław Gała is stepping onto the global art scene with exceptional reliefs that already evoke admiration and inspiration worldwide. His symbolic works, combining drawing and sculpture, are gaining recognition not only in Poland but also abroad, where they are presented by renowned galleries. Gała, associated with the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, is preparing for further international exhibitions, with the next one scheduled for April 24th in Monaco. The artist not only captures the hearts of art connoisseurs worldwide but also inspires world-famous musicians such as Edgar Abraham and Mirosław Muzykant, who found inspiration in his reliefs during a jazz concert at the Silesian Museum. His unconventional way of expressing creativity through reliefs not only fascinates but also provokes reflection on important contemporary issues. Gała engages in discussions about the impact of humans on the environment and the inevitable passage of time on matter and thought processes

His works, based on the concept of meta-areas, provide a higher-order cognitive reflection, depicting an external perspective on reality. Through his reliefs, Gała imposes no ideology, allowing viewers to freely interpret and engage in dialogue with the artwork. The exhibition "Dark Side of the Moon" is an attempt to find answers to what lies on the other side of the moon. Are we able to uncover this mystery? The exhibition organizers, as well as the artist himself, are confident that this issue will be subject to broader deliberations during visits to the gallery.
