Antoine Pisano in Monaco
Art Collect presents Antoine Pisano
From June 2 to 18, 2025, Espace 22 in Monaco is dedicating a monographic exhibition to Antoine Pisano, a rare, unclassifiable artist whose work stands out for its symbolic density and poetic intensity. The opening will take place on Tuesday, June 3 at 6 p.m., in the presence of the artist. Originally from Moûtiers and deeply connected to Corsica, where he lives and creates, Antoine Pisano has been developing a unique visual language for over thirty years. At the crossroads of allegory, the sacred, and the philosophy of being, he explores the human condition in all its complexity: the impetus of life, the fall, resilience, and the cosmic connection.
His canvases, in their imposing 200 x 200 cm format, are striking for their expressive power and technical mastery. Celestial or flayed figures, scorched or transfigured landscapes, musical or geometric writing: each painting becomes a territory of consciousness. Antoine Pisano paints what words cannot reach. He reveals the invisible, digs into silences, translates collapse and hope.
Through twelve major works brought together for this exhibition at Espace 22, the visitor enters a theatre of matter where bodies become symbols, where elements converse, where painting becomes a metaphysics in action. The exhibition also presents a fantastical portrait of Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover, a vibrant and respectful pictorial tribute, nourished by poetry and light.
