Symphony of colors

Multi-artist exhibition

Espace 22 is proud to co-organise an exhibition featuring three contemporary artists who showcase their latest artworks. Monaco based, award winning photographer, Maja Kerin has been honing her skills in abstract photography for the past several years. Originally a portrait photographer, Maja blended her photography skills with her spiritual growth journey, bringing about a perfect marriage of her two passions. Maja's photography explores the human essence and its relationship with the world around us. As the world is multidimensional and everything is energy, her images explore relationship with the physical and spiritual layers of the world. By using ICM technique she freezes the moment in layers of movement. The use of multi exposure, allows her to create an ethereal sense, almost paint the exact moment of escape, from one place to another.

Originally from Moldova, Liudmila Sun studied Fine Arts and Design at home as well as in Italy (Milan), enriching her artistic skills everywhere she travelled. Now she is based in Monaco, where, inspired by the evocative landscapes of the Côte d’Azur, she captures “en plein-air” unique moments of colour and light.

She has rediscovered a long-lost technique: painting on gold and silver. She spreads a thin layer of gold or silver leaf on the canvas and paints on it: the resulting colours are intensified compared to the ordinary, albeit already bright, effect of oil. In her works, palette knife technique for extrafine oil paintings, combined with gilding and symbolism leads the Impressionist style to a new level of perception.

Maria Mikileva is an artist who lives and works in Nice, France. The main subject of her art is butterflies, which are the symbols of life and transformation. The joy, the energy and the color are present in each of her works. For the artist her paintings are « the way to give the exact definition of love and happiness ».
