Through German Eyes

Contemporary art exhibition at Espace 22 In the presence of German artists and a special guest under the title #throughgermaneyes. This international exhibition will amaze you with the undeniable talent of these artists. These are well-known and highly appreciated artists who are performing for the first time in Monaco. German curator and visionary Marcus Schäfer stages spectacular, record-breaking international exhibitions around the world. Among others on Mount Everest, at the Burj al Arab and in world-famous museums.

Adrian Bedoy's works each weigh more than 28 kg and measure 1 square meter. These unique works of architecture and landmarks aim to compete with the normal one-dimensional perspective of classical photography and encourage the viewer to reconsider their opinions and points of view, to discover something new and to reflect on their own prejudices and knowledge.

British artist Sacha Jafri opened his latest exhibition, The Art Maze, on the Burj Al-Arab Jumeirah helipad in Dubai this year. The exhibition, curated in collaboration with art curator and architect Marcus Schäfer, features thirty oil and acrylic works that celebrate the 50th anniversary of the program for this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Martin Köster, fascinated by the beauty of a city that changes at nightfall. Car headlights that dance like lights in the streets, bright restaurant doors that illuminate the sidewalk – each of these lights has its own story and he likes to turn these stories into art. Martin Köster's motif is a city, but the message is hope.

Stephan Marienfeld has made sculptural processes his language, stunningly altering the form and meaning of materials. He was born in 1966 and trained as a stone sculptor. He was a long time pupil and assistant of Tony Cragg. In the meantime, he has achieved a highly respected position as a sculptor not only in Germany, but also abroad, and since 2003 he has been teaching at the Kunstakademie in Essen.

German artist Paulina Dornfeldt , who lives in Portugal, is known for her interdisciplinary and experimental work. His paintings are inspired by the places that surround him in everyday life. Paulina's work finds a home in the space where art, craft and design meet - the magical interface of beauty and function. The artist studied fashion design at FH-Bielefeld.

MahasinneMahasinne’s artworks are a documentation of life and its emotions, inspired by Jackson Pollock. Her works are made from action paintings and abstract expressionism. Mahasin Tanyaui, born in 1982, discovered her passion for art at a young age. Her mother always encouraged her to express her emotions and life surroundings through her works.

Maryna Mariyenko, born in Kharkov, Ukraine, where she also graduated from the State Art School. She subsequently studied in Germany, at the design college, Fachoberschule Gestaltung. Maryna has been showcased in international exhibitions and charity Events in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, France and Monaco.
